Welcome

Burning River Video is the home to freelance Producer / Director / and Videographer Sean Hovan.

You can navigate through the site to read about recent projects I have worked on, along with contacting me if you have an upcoming video production and are looking for an experienced freelancer to work on your project. I have over 8 years of experience in multiple Video and Television production enviroments. Director, Producer, Camera Operator, Audio engineer, and Projectionist are just a few of the positions I have been hired for in my years in the industry.

Currently a member of the TIVA-DC community, and an active member of InfoComm International I always keep up with the latest trends in the industry. I am also a fulltime employee of Creative Video of Washington where I continue to stay active in the Audio / Visual industry. I have my Broadcast Communications degree from the University of Toledo, Ohio and am Certified with Barco to operate their Screen Pro 2 and Image Pro production switchers. In the Summer of 2010 I plan to take the InfoComm CTS certification test. Continuing education is important to me so I can continue to demonstrate an up to date working knowlege of our constantly changing industry.

Whats New July 2010

Some may know that I have started my own business DMV Horses and Burning River Video are now both licensed businesses in Arlington, VA. I have purchased an HVX 200 camera with Manfroto tripod to help kickstart the new company. If you are interested in learning about what I'm doing with DMV Horses you can check out the website. I have also been working on some motorcross races around the country, which you can read about more in the news section. We have some pretty big projects coming up at my fulltime job at Creative Video which I'll be excited to discuss once they are all said and done!

Thanks again for checking out the site, and as always if you're looking for a professional for an upcoming production don't hesitiate to call or e-mail me about your needs!
