Jerry Lynn and Shocker defeated The Sandman and Too Cold Scorpio when Shocker defeated Sandman by disqualification in 0:08:54. Styles was able to hit the Styles Clash and that was the end of it. Card rating: *** Match observations: Backstage Notes: USWA made a quick decision that they could have Heatwave in Mexico City. Konnan and Ultimo Guerrero were major players in putting the show together. New Jack will make his 4th title defense against Taz at Heatwave. This match has a lot of those in the wrestling world asking "who will come out on top"? Taz is one of the best in the business, but New Jack has played the mental game to a tee with all of his opponents. AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe is being booked as a high impact match for the fans.
