Rating: *** Velocity starts off with a nice tag match with South of the Border beating Seasons Beatings. Super Crazy and Universo 2000 are looking for a shot at Mexicos Most Wanted after the attack at A Night to Remember. Sean Waltman pinned Steve Madison with his special move in 0:11:34. Rating: *** 3/4 Waltman gains a victory in X-Division action over Madison. Waltman is looking to get a singles match on the Chaos card against some of the big names in the USWA X-Division, a victory tonight gives him the momentum he needs. Rating: ** 1/2 Lawler starting his career at the bottom of card gets a victory over former USWA legend Reggie B. Fine. Reggie pulled out all his old classic maneuvers trying to complain about hair pulling and pulling the tights to the ref, but it wasn't good enough as Jerry Lawler gets the victory over Reggie. Low-Ki made Chad Collyer submit to a Fujiwara armbar in 0:15:25. Rating: **** 1/4 Low-Ki with Trinity at his side gets a victory over Chad Collyer. Low Ki is riding a huge wave of momentum into the Chaos card where he will compete against Christopher Daniels for the Global Title. Ahmed Johnson pinned Brickhouse Brown with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:06:42. Rating: * 1/4 In a battle of the powehouses Ahmed Johnson gets the victory over Brickhouse Brown. Brickhouse is another one of the Memphis Legends that have made their way back to the USWA, but the hot streak of Ahmed Johnson continues. Rating: *** 1/2 The Sandman, not only did he beat Bobby Duncum to end his winning streak last week, but tonight he defeated Chris Harris one on one, getting another form of revenge for Trevor Murdoch and James Storm. Jun Akiyama pinned Vampiro after a German suplex in 0:09:57. Rating: *** In our main event we we got a peak at Jun Akiyama returning to action and getting a major victory over Vampiro in singles competition. After the match Samoa Joe came into the ring to show appreciation to Akiyama for his first victory back with the company. Card rating: *** Match observations: Backstage Notes: We are pleased to announce that Vamprio and Konnan have resigned long term contracts with the USWA and will continue a healthy relationship with our Mexican wrestlers. Chris Harris and Super Crazy have given notice to the company and will not be renewing their contracts. This kicks off a season of contract negotiations where Raven has about a month left on his before he must go into meetings to discuss his departure, or an extension. The War Games match is heating up already. Taz and Sean Morley will be representing one team, while Williams, Smith, Shelley, Hermann, and MAYBE Nigel will complete Team New Europe. With the resigning of Vampiro it is safe to announce that a tag match between Vampiro and Raven vs Akiyama and Samoa Joe WILL take place at Chaos. More maches will be announced in the coming weeks.
