Interview: Nigel McGuinness tells AJ Styles about tonights Main Event Click here to see highlights. Christopher Daniels pinned Latin Lover with the Spicy Drop in 0:07:32. Rating: **** (Christopher Daniels retained the Global Title.) Christopher Daniels retains the Global title over Latin Lover in a fantastic match. On the way back up the ramp Daniels looked into the TV camera and told Nigel, CM Punk and Low-Ki that all the contenders to his title will eventually feel the wrath of the fallen angel! Interview: Konnan comes to the ring to run down the fans Click here to see highlights. Val Venis pinned Shocker after a fisherman suplex in 0:06:30. Rating: *** 3/4 Val Venis looked good in action tonight. He continues to take on good competition. Shocker was no match for Val in on his second USWA match. Interview: Hype Central announces The European Cup! Click here to see highlights. PG-13 (J.C. Ice and Wolfie D) defeated The Spanish Announce Team (Joel Maximo and Jose Maximo) when J.C. Ice pinned Joel Maximo with the Hubcap in 0:14:05. Rating: ** 1/2 Wolfie D and JC Ice have put together a nice little winning streak since the European Tour has started. Although they still have a long way to go, some are wondering if they might become contenders to the tag titles held by Nigel and Ultimo Guerrero. Interview: Taz has prerecorded comments for Vampiro Click here to see highlights. The Pain Game (Bull Pain and Ox Harley) defeated Rik Ratchet and Shark Boy when Bull Pain defeated Ratchet by disqualification in 0:13:06. Rating: ** 1/4 Another new tag team in the USWA, Harley and Bull Pain win in a squash match. Bull and Ox are some big nasty guys that don't mind swinging a chair to get a victory. They were sucessful here tonight. Interview: Samoa Joe responds to Ravens threats from last week. Click here to see highlights. Bobby Blaze and Bobby Duncum Jr. went to a no contest with America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) when Chris Harris superkicked James Storm in 0:09:24. Rating: ** 1/2 [Bobby Duncum Jr. attacks Bobby Blaze and Chris Harris turns on James Storm] In what some are calling the biggest news of the tour, Americas Most wanted is no more. Harris said before the match that this would be a reunited AMW that would finally win back their tag team championships and go on to be the best tag team in the history of the company. During the match that all changed. BDJ gave Bobby Blaze a clothesline from hell and Chris Harris superkicked James Storm when he wasn't looking. This led to BDJ and Harris hugging in the middle of the ring and continuing to focus the attacks on James Storm. Trevor Murdoch came to the aid of Storm but was also taken out bot Harris and BDJ. USWA security and officials had to make their way down to get them to leave the ring. Texas Death Match: Low-Ki pinned CM Punk with the Ki Crusher in 0:20:33. Rating: ** 1/2 Low-Ki evens out the best of 7 series at 1-1 with his victory tonight in Sheffield. Christopher Daniels has his eyes all over the USWA as he will be defending his title in a HUGE match against Nigel in London, and he knows the winner of the best of 7 will have an opportunity to fight for the Global Title as well. Nigel McGuinness defeated AJ Styles by countout in 0:15:12. Rating: ** 3/4 In our Main Event of the evening Nigel McGuinness was able to escape AJ Styles defeating him by countout at the 15 minute mark. The match was back and forth until AJ took the upperhand. When it looked like AJ was about to hit the Styles Clash Harry Smith ran out to distract AJ. He threw Nigel a pair of brass knucks and took off backstage before the ref could see it. Nigel took the knucks and smashed AJ with them as he went crumbling to the concrete floor. The ref began his 10 count as AJ was counted out Nigel was also laying in the ring. Nigel gets the victory, but as soon as AJ has a chance to review the tape I'm sure he will have more to say about this one! Card rating: ** 3/4 Match observations: Backstage Notes: Another solid show from the USWA. Nigel was the hero in Sheffield and put on a great main event with AJ Styles. The AMW breakup didn't take long. It was only a few months ago that these guys were USWA Tag Team Champions. Once Chris Harris suffered that knee injury and the titles were stripped from them, these two were never able to get back on track. Trevor Murdoch is just a casualty of war in this one. We don't know much about this new alliance of Harris and Bobby Duncum Jr, but it is one that looks strong. We did hear that Chris Harris has asked for some time during the European Cup Tournament to explain his actions so hopefully we will get more information on all of this on the next show. Taz has announced that he is going to bring a special enforcer to the ring with him for his match with Vampiro. Nobody has a clue who he might be talking about. Last time we checked Taz has no friends and doesn't ask anything from anyone! It will be a surprise to all of us what he ends up doing to keep outside interference from hitting the ring during his very first title defense. Vampiro is one of the top contenders and former Global, and Tag Tag Team Title holder. The fans should be in for a great main event in Manchester.
