Ice and Wolfie D) and Shark Boy 2 falls to 1: x J.C. Ice beat Joel Maximo via a short lariat in 0:19:07 x Jose Maximo beat Shark Boy via a dropkick to the face in 0:27:43 Rating: *** 1/2 In an unannounced match The SAT's and Vic Quinonez hand picked partner Latin Lover get a victory over Wolfie D, J.C. Ice and Shark Boy. With the Latin Lover being brought in for this match, rumors are flying as to who Victor picked to be Vampiros partner! No-Countout-Match: The Pitbulls (Pitbull 1 and Pitbull 2) defeated The Can-Am Express (Dan Kroffat and Doug Furnas) when Pitbull 1 pinned Furnas with the DDT in 0:19:03. Rating: **** 1/2 For the first time in USWA History The Pitbulls finally defeated life long rivals the Can Am Express. This was a teriffic match with Kroffat and Furnas in shock at their loss. No-Countout-Match: Jun Akiyama pinned Ulf Hermann after the Blue Thunder in 0:03:03. Rating: *** In singles action Jun Akiyama gets a victory over Ulf Herman of New Europe. Akiyama had plenty of crowd support. Quick match with a quick win for Jun. X-Division Title Match: Too Cold Scorpio pinned Alex Shelley after a German suplex in 0:20:52. Rating: ***** (Too Cold Scorpio retained the X Division Title.) In one of the best X- Division matches in the history of the company, Alex Shelley goes down in defeat to Too Cold Scorpio. So many near falls. Alex almost brought the gold home for New Europe, but Scorpio the crafty veteran showed why he is the champ. A rematch has already been ordered for television next week. No-Countout-Two-out-of-three-Falls Match: Christopher Daniels beat Konnan 2 falls to 0: x C. Daniels beat Konnan via the Last Rites in 0:18:47 x C. Daniels beat Konnan via the Last Rites in 0:23:28 Rating: ***** Following that 5 start X match we went right back to work with another amazing USWA Classic. Daniels had a big shock for Konnan when he brought Frank Morell to his corner as a manager! Konnan wanted him banned but Frank showed the ref his managers license. Daniels gets the win and is asking for a Global title match in the future. No word yet on if it will be granted. No-Countout-Match: Tazz pinned Goldberg after a bridging back suplex in 0:17:27. Rating: *** 1/2 In one of the most hyped matches on the card Shane Douglas comes out to tell Tazz it's his time. Tazz comes out to a HUGE ovation. Once hes in the ring Shane brings out ...BILL GOLDBERG! The place doesnt know how to react! After a huge matchup, Tazz squeeked out a win. It didn't end there though. Goldberg Speared Tazz after the match and layed him out! Shane Douglas never hit the ring but watched from the ramp laughing. Goldberg is in the USWA, and he's NOT undefeated. No-Countout-Match: America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) defeated AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn when J. Storm pinned Lynn with the 8 Second Ride in 0:09:50. Rating: **** AMW had a surprise as they introduced a 3rd member to their crew. Trevor Murdoch! Trevor and James Storm said they are good ole country boys with a lot in common. Trevor helped AMW get a victory over Lynn and AJ in tag action. The question is, will Trevor make a difference in getting the gold back around AMW's waist? No-Countout-Cage Match: Low-Ki pinned The Sandman after a legsweep in 0:13:55. Rating: ** 1/2 In the cage, with no Trinity in site, Low-Ki defeated Sandman to end the feud that has been going on for months. Sandman was left laying and Low-Ki should be in line for a title shot. No-Countout-Match: Vampiro and Ultimo Guerrero defeated New Europe (David Taylor and Johnny Smith) when Vampiro pinned Smith after a powerslam in 0:23:26. Rating: *** (Vampiro and Ultimo Guerrero won the USWA Tag Team Titles.) In another Mystery partner moment Vic Quinonez brought out Vampiro and one of the best current Luchadores in Mexico, Ultimo Guerrero! Ultimo Guerrero looked fantastic and Taylor and Smith, although prepared for the match, could not get the victory. Guerrero has signed a contract with the USWA and will bring some major credibility to the company south of the border. Rumor has it his contract calls for a global title match, which is currently held by Konnan. No-Countout-Match: New Jack pinned Samoa Joe with the Diving Headbutt in 0:10:38. Rating: **** (New Jack retained the USWA Heavyweight Title.) In our USWA Heavyweight title main event NEW JACK defeats the undefeatable Samoa Joe. The violence New Jack brought to the ring was just to much for Joe. You could see the emotions on Joes face. He really wanted to be the champ, but New Jack keeps the gold. Jun Akiyama came down to the ring and talked to Joe after the match. They left the ring together. Barbed Wire No-Countout-Match: CM Punk pinned Raven with the Pepsi Plunge in 0:15:07. Rating: **** 3/4 CM Punk was elevated tonight. Punk defeates his former boss in the Barbed wire and the fans loved it. Both men a bloody mess in the ring. After the match Punk tried to shake hands with Raven, but Raven walked away showing no respect to Punk. Punk got a good ovation from the fans. Even with the loss Raven is still a top contender to the title. We will know more about the next challenger for New Jack at TV. Card rating: *** 3/4 Match observations: Notes from Backstage: Ultimo Guerrero has been signed for a contract, look for the Luchadores to get new direction in the upcoming weeks. Samoa Joe and Akiyama are slowly starting to trust eachother. Rumor is they are going to Japan to train together. Trevor Murdoch will join AMW making the stable a 3 man group. Punk defeated Raven, but he is still not close in the title picture. Look for Punk to work his way up the rankings.
