In the Lockeroom : MexiCANS are all in the back getting ready for tonights matches. Victor says tonight is the night the MexiCANS get a chance to show the world they are the biggest force in the USWA. The SATS have a shot at the tag titles, Vampiro will defend the Global title in the USWA for the first time in months, and Universo 2000 has a big match against Sabin! The title collection starts tonight. Chris Hero pinned Matt Turner with the Hero's Welcome in 0:09:45. Rating: ** 1/2 [Susumu Mochizuki interfered against Matt Turner.] Matt Turner couldn't get the victory over Chis Hero, his hand picked opponent by Jerry Lawler. Lawler wanted Turner to end another undefeated streak, but Susumu Mochizuki couldn't sit back and watch. He helped cost Turner the win in the opener. [Winner gets title shot tonight]: The Spanish Announce Team (Joel Maximo and Jose Maximo) defeated East Coast Connection (Flash Flanagan and Reckless Youth) when Jose Maximo pinned F. Flanagan with the Maximo Impact in 0:17:29. Rating: *** 3/4 [Tiffany and Dan Kroffat interfered against Reckless Youth.] [Tiffany interfered against Flash Flanagan.] An excellent match where the winnner would take on London and Cabana for the tag team titles. The SAT's were pinned and lost the match in the middle of the ring, but Tiffany would not let that happen. We also saw Dan Kroffat of the Can Am Express hit the ring and try to deny Reckless and Flash a title shot. With all the interference Jose and Joel got the pin and will receive the title shot later tonight. Backstage: Dan Kroffatt tells his partner Lafon that he took care of the East Coast Connection and that there title shot is right around the corner when Akiyama wins back his title tonight. From behind CM Punk and The Pitbulls pearl harbor the Can Am Express and drag them to an empty room. In the Ring...: Brian Christopher and Jackie are talking about how they didn't get booked when the USWA have been bringing in competition for every show. Brians says that he is going to have a big match on Velocity next week booked or not! Johnny Smith pinned Tommy Dreamer with the British Fall in 0:09:14. Rating: *** 1/2 Dreamer was unable to get the victory over New Europe member Johnny Smith. Smith beat Dreamer fair and square in the ring. AJ Styles pinned Samoa Joe with the Styles Clash in 0:11:16. Rating: *** (AJ Styles retained the X Division Title.) AJ Styles gave Samoa Joe his second loss in the USWA. The X Division champion keeps the title. Samoa Joe needs to continue his dominance if he wants to rise up the ladder in the USWA. In the ring: Vampiro and the rest of the mexiCANS hit the ring before his match. Vamp says that he will finally have the chance to defend the title HE mad famous by traveling the world and defending it. Nothing that the USWA has done has made the title as popular as it is in South America, Australia, and even Greenland. One of the most traveled titles in all of pro wrestling will be defended and retained tonight! Vampiro pinned Jerry Lynn after a waistlock suplex in 0:14:27. Rating: *** 3/4 (Vampiro retained the USWA Global Title.) [Victor Quinonez interfered against Jerry Lynn.] Vampiro lived up to his word and sucessfully defended his Global Title tonight against Jerry Lynn. Lynn shook hands with Vampiro after the match. USWA Officials will be making a major effort to bring in more opponents from around the globe to promote our Global title. Backstage: Michael Shane is looking for the SAT's and Vampiro after there big wins when he gets approached by New Europe. Nigel and Johnny want Shane to join there new faction, and try to explain how they are not even wanted in the group. Shane says that he is wanted and he has no reason to join a European Union, because his alliance is with Mexico. Nigel clobbers him from behind when Universo 2000 hits the scene and clears house. Shane gets up and is extatic that one of his stable mates helped him out! Universo 2000 pinned Chris Sabin after a spinebuster slam in 0:06:30. Rating: *** 1/2 Universo 2000 was up against Sabin and got the pinfall. Sabin still wants to get his hands on Michael Shane. in the cellar of the arena: Raven is all alone laughing. He tells Akiyama it's in his best interest to show up for the match tonight. Injured or not. It's his last chance to recapture the greatness. 2001 was his best year in the business, and thats all he will ever have. Raven then says that tonight is the night his career dies. If he doesn't show up....then His boys Furnas and Lafon might never be heard from again. I-Quit Match: Tazz made Tito Ortiz submit to the Tazmission in 0:15:57. Rating: *** 1/2 Tazz continues to prove he is one of the best wrestlers in the company. Tito Ortiz came in to show Tazz some legit shoot fighting, but in the end Tazz got the job done. Interview: Low-Ki comes to the ring and wants to know why the USWA once again has nothing for him. Lawler comes out and tells Ki that everyone that is a decent opponent are already booked tonight. Low-Ki says it's crazy to have your star sitting at home, so for last night he has brought in his own opponent. Out comes the GREAT MUTA! One last night, one last opponent! Low-Ki pinned The Great Muta with the Ki Crusher in 0:22:59. Rating: **** [Trinity interfered against The Great Muta.] Colt Cabana and Paul London defeated The Spanish Announce Team (Joel Maximo and Jose Maximo) when Cabana pinned Jose Maximo with the Colt 45 in 0:27:26. Rating: ***** (Colt Cabana and Paul London retained the USWA Tag Team Titles.) [Victor Quinonez and Tiffany interfered against Paul London.] [Tiffany and Victor Quinonez interfered against Colt Cabana.] One of the most amazing matches in the history of the USWA Tag Team Titles, Cabana and London defeat the SAT's to retain the titles. Excellent match that all the fans appreciated. London and Cabana continue a decent run with the titles. Two-out-of-three-Falls Match: Raven beat Jun Akiyama 2 falls to 0: x Raven beat J. Akiyama via the Raven Effect in 0:06:52 x Raven beat J. Akiyama via the Raven Effect in 0:13:02 Rating: *** 1/4 (Raven retained the USWA Heavyweight Title.) (Sandman turns on Akiyama and nailed him in the back with a cane.) An AMAZING heavyweight title match with Raven beating Jun 2 out of 3 falls. A CRAZY ending when The Pitbulls bring out the Can Am Expressed tied up to chairs. Akiyama gets distracted and nearly loses the match. Just when you think Akiyama and his friends are done..NEW JACKS music hits and the place goes crazy! New Jack clears house and then goes right after CM Punk. In all of the chaos out comes the Sandman...he hits the ring and just when we all thought he was going after Raven he jacks Akiyama in the back and then Raven hits the Raven effect to get the win! Sandman stands in the ring laughing with Raven as Raven holds the belt up high. Card rating: *** 3/4 Match observations:
