Too Cold Scorpio pinned AJ Styles after a power bomb in 0:07:40. Too Cold Scorpi o suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 3 cards. Rating: *** 1/4 [Dan Kroffat interfered against Too Cold Scorpio.] Just when Scorpio is climbing the ladder of sucess, a back injury will keep him out of competition, and he loses his spot in the Global Tournament, the one thing he was waiting for! Scorpio understands he has to give up his spot, but he says if ANYONE no shows he is taking the spot no matter what. Interview: Hype Central Click here to see highlights. Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: The New Church (Dustin Rhodes, Raven and Vic Grimes) defeated Team Extreme (Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman) and Dusty Rhodes when Raven pinned Dreamer with the Evenflow DDT in 0:16:50. Rating: *** 1/4 [Altar Boy Luke interfered against Vic Grimes.] In what had to be one of the worst nights in Dusty Rhodes career, he lost his son, AND he lost his friends. All in one night Raven trumped Dustys 200 light tube victory by bringing in his mystery partner of Dustin Rhodes! If that wasn't hard enought to deal with Dreamer and Sandman TURNED on Dusty and helped Raven destroy Dusty in the ring. When Vampiro is on the shelf, and CM Punk is suspended, Raven was still able to get the psychological advantage over Dusty. Card rating: *** 1/4 Match observations: Notes from Backstage Great night of action in Memphis, the fans loved it. Scorpio is out of the GHT and he is very upset about it. He will be a backup if someone doesn't show. Dustin Rhodes signed with the company, and who knows what that will do for the entire Raven/Dusty feud. This thing has more twists and turns than anything going on in the promotion. After this weekends shows the USWA is having a major booking meeting to discuss what the future holds for the fall/and into our 1 year redebut November to Remember show.
